Sizing and cost

Manual handling is the commonest cause of injury in a despatch area. A trolley is cheaper than a back injury, and a parcel over about 25 kg should be moved with equipment rather than by a person however keen they are. Load ratings here are the tested rating rather than a marketing figure, and the folded or stored size is published because a trolley that lives in a corridor has to fit the corridor. A despatch bench that works is the one where everything is within reach without turning round: box store under the bench, tape and fill at hand height, labels at the printer and the scale beside the label printer. Most benches lose more time to walking than to packing.

Which quantity to buy

Standard is the specification listed. We sell despatch consumables by what they actually cost per parcel rather than by the price on the box, and every listing states the size the quantity and the cost per unit. If a smaller box would ship your product cheaper we would rather tell you than sell you the one you already order.
