Double Wall Cardboard Box 457 by 305 by 305 mm

Double Wall Cardboard Box 457 by 305 by 305 mm: a double wall box with internal measurements of 457 by 305 by 305 mm.

Corrugated boxes by internal size and board grade. Internal size is the one that matters: a box described by its external size will not take a product that is the same measurement.

Sizing and cost

Board grade matters more than thickness. Single wall is right for most items up to about 15 kg, double wall for heavier or fragile goods and for anything that will be stacked in a pallet network. We state the board grade and the burst strength rather than calling everything heavy duty. Couriers charge on the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight, which for most UK carriers is length by width by height in centimetres divided by 5000. A light product in an oversized box is charged as though it were heavy, so the single biggest saving in most despatch benches is dropping a box size rather than changing carrier. Packaging is a reportable waste stream for businesses over the thresholds in the extended producer responsibility rules, and the data is easier to collect if your packaging is simple. Paper void fill and paper tape are recyclable in the household stream; bubble wrap and poly mailers are not in most areas. We state the recyclability plainly rather than printing a leaf on the label.

Which quantity to buy

Pack of Twenty Five is twenty five for a bench that ships a few a day. Bundle of One Hundred is a hundred flat packed. We sell despatch consumables by what they actually cost per parcel rather than by the price on the box, and every listing states the size the quantity and the cost per unit. If a smaller box would ship your product cheaper we would rather tell you than sell you the one you already order.
